  Our founder, Ms Clara C.F. YIP holds a Law and Economics degree from Auckland University (New Zealand) and is a Registered Patent, Trade Mark and Industrial Design Agent in Malaysia. She was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand in 1993 and was called to the Malayan Bar in 1994. She is proficient in English and Malay, and is conversant in Mandarin, Cantonese and French. She has over 14 years of experience in a wide range of intellectual property work including patent, design, trademark and copyright; trademark opposition; ownership disputes; trade secrets; trade dress; passing-off; and has participated in different phases of litigation including settlement negotiations and trial preparation. She was twice voted Asialaw's Leading Lawyer in Intellectual Property in 2006 and 2007, and has successfully completed FICPI's S.E.A.D course on patent drafting. A former Secretary of the Licensing Executives Society (Malaysia), she currently serves on the Patent Committee of the Asian Patent Attorneys Association as well as the EUMCCI IPR Committee for the Protection of IPR.
  
  Our consultant, Mdm Choon-Fong CHEONG has a B. Sc. in Chemistry from Nanyang University (Singapore) and is an Associate Member of Institute of Chemistry, Malaysia. Mdm Cheong worked for over 25 years as a lead chemist in a US multinational focusing on R&D, regulatory compliance, licensing, and control issues in beauty and personal care products. Mdm. Cheong has experience in conducting tests and analyses for quality/ process control and new product development; drafting technical reports and papers; developing and implementing technical methodologies, policies and practices; training scientific staff; complying with government regulations and quality control standards; preparing research proposals; and transferring of expertise to manufacturing divisions. She is fluent in English, Malay, Mandarin and Cantonese.
