PROTECTION OF PERFORMERS

In addition to copyright, Performers' rights also subsist under copyright law in respect of live performances: 

1. of a dramatic work or part thereof,
2. of a musical work or part thereof,
3. of a dance,
4. of a circus act or a variety act,
5. in relation to expressions of folklore,
6. pertaining to the reading, recitation or delivery of a literary work or part thereof,

that are given in Malaysia, whether before an audience or otherwise.
